One of Trump’s first executive orders was his attempt to ban Muslims from entering the United States. He picked seven nations originally, although none of them have citizens who committed acts of terrorism inside of the United States. He excluded Saudi Arabia on each of his efforts although 15 of the 19 skyjackers who attacked our nation on September 11, 2001 were Saudi Nationals.
Trump failed in his attempt to repeal Obamacare. Although Republicans claimed that they would replace it with less expensive and improved healthcare, they lied. Their only goal was to take away healthcare from tens of millions of Americans.
Trump just kept losing.
Together with his fellow white supremacist and Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, they made constant attempts to harm minorities, women, and Muslims; they failed each and every time.
Trump was successful in passing what he calls ‘tax reform.’ The truth is that this bill will do nothing for the majority, but will give huge and permanent tax breaks to large corporations and the super-wealthy. For the majority, this is another huge Trump loss.
Trump and Sessions’ latest effort was to allow employers to discriminate against the LGBTQ community. Another failure, and another victory for real Americans. I have a question; was Mike Pence, who is the nation’s greatest homophobe, involved in this effort?
The Second Circuit Court issued the following ruling.
“A woman who is subject to an adverse employment action because she is attracted to women would have been treated differently if she had been a man who was attracted to women,” the majority wrote in an opinion led by Judge Robert Katzman. “We can therefore conclude that sexual orientation is a function of sex and, by extension, sexual orientation discrimination is a subset of sex discrimination.”
This is a major victory not only for the LGBTQ community, but for the nation, and most importantly the Constitution.
Trump’s administration, under the control of Robert Mercer and Vladmir Putin, has one goal; to destroy the America of our founding fathers.
The court added the claim that “sexual orientation is doubly delineated by sex because it is a function of both a person’s sex and the sex of those to whom he or she is attracted. Logically, because sexual orientation is a function of sex and sex is a protected characteristic under Title VII, it follows that sexual orientation is also protected.”
At least for today America is alive and struggling. Vote in November and protect the future of our nation and your loved ones.
