Join me; it’s Time to Boycott Facebook

Ask any young American; Facebook has outlived its usefulness. Senseless, mind-numbing posts, combined with lies are not worth my time. Facebook has also been careless with subscriber’s privacy, and now it is allowing fallacious ads from right wing protagonists.

Katie Harbath is Facebook’s public policy director. Prior to joining the social media giant in 2011, she was a right-wing strategist for the RNC, NRSC, and even Rudy Giuliani’s campaign. It is Harbath who decided to allow these fallacious ads on her rag, although the claims by the Trump administration have been proven false by PolitiFact, and factcheck.org. CNN refused to print the ads after close scrutiny revealed that there was not an iota of truth in the text.

Nothing makes me very angry, with one exception; being lied to. This is an insult to my intelligence. I believe nothing until I discover facts to support a statement or claim. This principle is at the core of why I despise Trump. He has failed to tell the truth once in his two years, nine months, and 22 days in office. This alone makes him the worst president in history. He is a disgrace to the title “President of the United States.”

If you love your country, join me in two efforts to restore dignity and respect to our nation. First, boycott Facebook. If you want your friends and family to know what’s going on in your life there’s an invention called “e-mail;” and you can even create your own ‘group.’ Why would you give access to strangers about your personal and private life? Do you need that much attention?

Second; vote. On November 3, 2020 the most important election in America’s history will happen. We can take our country back from a wannabe fascist, and a political party which serves themselves but not you or those you love.
