All Americans should have learned an extremely important fact. When Generals John Kelly and James Mattis were unable to curtail Trump’s rash and dangerous decisions, Trump offered irrefutable truth that he is unfit to wear the titles of President of the United States and our military’s Commander-in-Chief.
Both men resigned, and both positions they held remain unfilled. The Trump administration does not have a Chief of Staff, and the cabinet is missing a Secretary of Defense.
When General Mattis resigned, he released a book which likely devastated Trump’s fragile ego. It was the truth and the orange man cannot handle the truth.
As was expected, Trump attacked the respected general. In a typical and foolish attack Donny Boy called him “the world’s most overrated general” during a meeting with congressional leaders Wednesday.
This from a draft dodger who is a coward and lacks basic intelligence to solve even the most simple problem.
This time General Mattis did not ignore the words of the worst illegitimate president in history. At the Al Smith Memorial Foundation dinner on Thursday, Mattis opened his speech with a caustic blow about Trump’s deferment from the draft during the Vietnam War.
“I earned my spurs on the battlefield; Donald Trump earned his spurs from the doctor” he said.
Trump has no answer for the truth. If he attempts to rebuke the General, he will once again make a fool of himself.
Trump’s last two major decisions have been huge failures. Asking the President of Ukraine to interfere in our election and pulling our troops away from the Turkey/Syria border have both become major disasters which will become a memorable part of his legacy.
