Trump’s greatest fear is the truth. For 73+ years he has lived a life of secrecy and deceit. His biggest mistake was seeking the presidency. The life of an American president is always revealed to the world sooner or later. In Trump’s case; it’s sooner.
Bit by bit we are learning that Trump’s entire life is filled with failures, lies, criminal actions, and debauchery.
Two legitimate news agencies continue to expose the real Donald Trump while the television media protects him. Monday on Fox News’ “Hannity,” President Donald Trump called the Times “a fake newspaper” and said “we don’t even want it in the White House anymore.”
“We’re going to probably terminate that and The Washington Post,” Trump said. “They’re fake.”
Fake White House Press Secretary, who, like her predecessor, Sarah “Huckasanders,” refuses to hold daily briefings, claims that Trump was referring to “subscriptions” and not banning them from the White House.
I believe that Trump will attempt to censor real news; his life cannot exist in an atmosphere of facts and the truth. He has followed the ideology of Adolf Hitler in 1930’s Germany. First; tell a lie often enough and the people will believe it. Second, if all information comes from the government the people will become your subjects; you will not be forced to ‘serve them.’
Here’s the truth. Trump loves media attention. During the 2016 campaign he received five-times more media coverage than all other candidates combined; primarily by television “news.” He was held to the lowest possible standard in history, while Hillary Clinton was held to the highest.
Was it because she spoke about issues and was the most qualified candidate in history, or was it the fact that Trump’s lies and sensationalism sold advertising minutes? The results prove it was the latter.
When real journalists appeared on our television in the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s they were paid a salary equivalent to a middle level employee in a corporation. Today every personality who appears on a network “news” broadcast is awarded with millions of dollars each year. Their only accomplishment is attracting advertisers.
Television media was complicit in Trump’s illegitimate win in the Electoral College. They continue to support him today. This is another situation of profit before people. They do not care about their country; they care about the money.
The truth is that Trump will either be removed from office or he will be voted out of office on November 3, 2020. He will also be the force behind Democrats regaining control of both houses of congress. His only sensible choice is to resign, but his enormous ego, and resulting arrogance will not allow him to do the right thing for the future of our nation. The difference between him and Richard Nixon is that Nixon had common sense and loved his country.
