Every intelligent American is fully aware that Moscow Mitch McConnell is the worst senator in America’s history. Moscow Mitch created the “party of no” and is responsible for our dysfunctional government. More than 230 bills passed by the House remain on his desk. He has virtually used a “pocket veto” to prevent passage of laws which would help protect our elections, offer assistance to military personnel and their families, and multiple social programs which would aid half of all Americans who are low income or struggling below the poverty line. So, you can understand how surprised I was when I read that the Morning Consult tracking poll revealed that Susan Collins has surpassed Moscow Mitch as the least respected senator in Washington.
The Senator from Maine experienced a 10 percent drop in her rating since September, and currently has a disapproval rating of 52 percent. The reasons are simple; Collins joined every other Republican when she supported degenerate Brett Kavanaugh’s appointment to the Supreme Court. She has also joined her failed party by promising to violate the Constitution and make Trump’s trial in the senate a sham. Most importantly, Collins ran her campaign based on women’s rights issues. Today her votes support the demands of Moscow Mitch and the orange moron in the White House.
The people of Maine are patriotic and intelligent. Collins will have a very difficult time winning reelection in November. Apparently, she ‘drank the Kool-Aid and is now one of the old white men in her party.
In her defense, she made this statement. However, she previously claimed that she would ‘do the right thing,’ and later reneged.
“While I need to hear the case argued and the questions answered, I tend to believe having additional information would be helpful. It is likely that I would support a motion to call witnesses at that point in the trial just as I did in 1999,” she said.
We will see where Collin stands when Trump’s trial begins in earnest on Tuesday. Insiders believe that she will bow to Moscow Mitch’s demands.
