Donald John Trump will be remembered as the “do nothing president.” Every “accomplishment” the orange child brags about is actually a success begun under President Obama’s administration. The only “accomplishments” Trump can claim as his own are giving huge tax breaks to the wealthy and corporations, alienating our allies, and increasing the national debt.
DJT cannot be a leader, he’s too busy partying at Mar-a-Lago, his other resorts, golfing, holding hate rallies, watching cable television, and tweeting attacks against his many, many enemies. During his first few months in office he proved that the President of the United States was no longer the leader of the free world.
The worst Secretary of State in history, Mike Pompeo, is upset about this fact and made a feeble attempt to defend his puppeteer in Munich. While attending a security conference with western leaders, he offered a stern warning, as great diplomats always do.
Pompeo offered tweets in which Western Leaders doubted Trump’s ability and desire to lead. Pompeo did not attach a name to each criticism, but you’ll figure it out and decide their accuracy.
“The fact that our friend and ally has come to question the very worth of its mantle of global leadership, puts into sharper focus the need for the rest of us to set our own clear and sovereign course.”
This tweet was obviously referring to Trump’s efforts to destroy NATO and achieve one of Vladimir Putin’s primary goals.
“The multilateral order is experiencing its perhaps gravest crisis since the emergence—its emergence after the Second World War.”
Pompeo’s response was as expected. He blatantly lied to the conference by making claims which are obviously fallacious.
“I’ve seen, we’ve all seen, democratic leaders questioning America’s commitment to the trans-Atlantic alliance and America’s leadership in the world,” he said. “I’m here this morning to tell you the facts. Those statements simply do not affect in any significant way or reflect reality. I am happy to report that the death of the trans-Atlantic alliance is grossly over-exaggerated.” He then added, “The West is winning. We are collectively winning. We’re doing it together.” I guess he’s forgetting about Trump’s failure to sign the “Paris Accord,” and the outrageous tariffs placed on exports from the European Union, Japan, and China.
World leaders laugh at Trump behind his back. Pompeo has been heavily criticized by every nation he visits, including North Korea and Iran. Palestinians have angrily rejected Trump’s laughable “Middle East Peace Plan” which was in fact a gift to Israel.
Once again, I must suggest that you remember the diplomatic talents of President Obama’s administration. His selection of Hillary Clinton and John Kerry as his Secretaries of State were brilliant. Our place in the world had been harmed by the Bush 43 administration and repaired by President Obama. Formulating a nuclear arms agreement between the United States and Iran was brilliant. One individual who was a top negotiator for Ronald Reagan in Russia labeled the agreement ‘highly favorable to the United States.’ I was not surprised that Trump voided the agreement and once again destabilized the region. No one in his administration possesses diplomatic skills.
Trump cannot rightfully be labeled an “American president.” And he cannot be the leader of the free world when he is following orders from the President of Russia.
