On Monday and Tuesday, the stock market lost nearly 1,900 points. Today is lost another 122 points. Wednesday becomes the sixth day in a row that the Dow Industrials faced a “Bear Market.” A “Bear Market” is when investors sell more stock than they purchase.
Economic experts continue to suggest another recession is imminent. Although the ‘market’ is not indicative of our nation’s overall economy, it is an expression of the insecurity of large investors.
Currently the coronavirus is at the heart of the slide, but other factors could have a more disastrous effect. The estimate is that Trump’s failed policies and outrageous personal spending will add over one-trillion-dollars a year to our nation’s deficit until 2025. In addition, the end of Trump’s trade war with China has no solution in the foreseeable future.
Finally, not a single ‘good-paying’ job has been created since Trump was illegitimately elected. Consumer confidence is in decline. Meanwhile Trump continues his efforts to repeal Obamacare without a plan in place to replace it. As many as 30 million Americans could suddenly find themselves unable to pay for medical care.
Any America who believed that a failed businessman could care for the economy of the wealthiest nation in the world did not do his or her homework. Their votes were based on a lack of information; choosing ignorance over fact.
In three years Trump has done more harm to America’s future than the previous 10 men in his position; and that includes the disaster which was Bush 43.
He never should have received the Republican nomination in 2016. Trump is not a Republican. Although he was once a Democrat, he does not place the American people first and cannot wear that label either. Trump is a ‘greedy capitalist.’ He cares for no one else and never has. The orange child bullying America is unfit to wear the label of President of the United States of America.
