In 1918 Woodrow Wilson Hid the Truth about the ‘Spanish Flu;’ Trump Attempted to Hide the Truth about the Coronavirus

In 1918 the ‘Spanish Flu’ became a worldwide pandemic. Between 20 and 50 million people died around the world. In America approximately 675,000 lives were lost, many of them in barracks ready to fight in WWI.

President Woodrow Wilson pushed the “Sedition Act” through congress which prevented the release of any information which might endanger the war effort. Therefore, information of how serious the Spanish Flu had become was kept from the American people.

When the CDC confirmed the coronavirus had become a  pandemic and cases were discovered in the United States, the organization wanted to announce an advisory message for the elderly suggesting that they refrain from flying on commercial aircraft and avoid crowded venues. Trump prevented such an announcement.

“The White House overruled health officials who wanted to recommend that elderly and physically fragile Americans be advised not to fly on commercial airlines because of the new coronavirus, a federal official told The Associated Press. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention submitted the plan this week as a way of trying to control the virus, but White House officials ordered the air travel recommendation be removed, said the official who had direct knowledge of the plan,” the AP reported.

At most risk are older Americans, but the Trump administration was not concerned. This action by Trump and his circle of sinners was purely political. Trump’s failures are mounting and he is in fear of losing on November 3rd.

Trump is not only the worst president in American history, he is the worst person in the world. He does not care about the 330 million people he is required to serve. DJT cares only about Trump.

Here is the statement the CDC finally released.

“On Friday, the CDC quietly updated its website to tell older adults and people with severe medical conditions such as heart, lung or kidney disease to ‘stay home as much as possible’ and avoid crowds. It urges those people to ‘take actions to reduce your risk of exposure,’ but it doesn’t specifically address flying,” the AP noted. “Some experts this week said clearer and louder guidance should be made to vulnerable people, so they take every possible step to avoid settings where they might more easily become infected.”

Trump is only concerned with reelection at any cost to the American people. He is not an American and will never be my president.

The Republican senate must be held accountable for this impeached president’s continued residence in the White House.
