“The Trump Effect” is Real, but Bernie Can’t Believe how it Appeared at his Campaign Event

When Trump was nominated several situations occurred and were unreported by the television “news.” First was an almost immediate rise in the percentage of hate crimes. Verbal and physical attacks against minorities, Muslims, Jews, the LGBTQ community, and women rose 800 percent. Second, Trump received the unanimous support of white supremacist groups across America. After the horrific events in Charlottesville, Virginia, Trump reciprocated by claiming that “there were good people on both sides.”

All of these hate groups can be labeled as “Neo-Nazis.” They share the beliefs of the German people in 1930’s Germany under the skillful manipulation of their Fuhrer, Adolf Hitler. Their leader was an egomaniacal narcissist not unlike your current illegitimate president.

The beliefs of Nazis are in direct opposition to the principles and beliefs of our founding fathers and the 44 presidents who preceded Trump. The very fact that the first amendment allows the display of flags supporting Nazism in white supremacy marches across America is disturbing, but a guarantee of free speech I will always defend.

Nazis create an image which is more disgusting and deplorable than any other in modern history. The fact that these hate groups have become emboldened by the traitor in the White House is unforgivable but very real.

On Sunday Bernie Sanders held a campaign event in Phoenix. A man was removed from the event for displaying a Nazi flag.

“The idea that there was a swastika, a symbol of everything that this country stands against … is unspeakable,” Sanders said on CNN’s “State of the Union,” adding that around 400,000 Americans died “fighting that symbol, fighting Nazism.”

“I never expected in my life, as an American, to see a swastika at a major political rally. It’s horrible,” Sanders added.

If Bernie is nominated by the Democratic Party in July, he will be the first Jewish man in history to receive the support of a major political party.

I have witnessed an enormous amount of sexism and racism in the 2020 campaign season, and I am appalled. However, I recognize that this is part of the “Trump Effect.” The worst of America have crawled from under rocks and slithered from the slime in our country’s swamps and cesspools in support of the worst illegitimate president in history.

This is more of the Trump Effect. His supporters use anger, hatred, and violence to intimidate real Americans.

Bernie is a real American. No other candidate remaining in contention for the presidency has concern for the future of the American people and the future of our nation’s place in the world.

There are reasons why I did not originally support Bernie this year. In 2016 I caucused for him here in Nevada, but I continue to believe that what America needs in 2020 is a woman president who is under the age of 60. Our country desperately needs a president who can relate to the majority, not the minority. Our nation’s average age is 38.1 years of age and women dominate the population 51-49 percent.

However, Bernie’s ideas align with those two groups, and real change is needed in America.

Trump’s supporters share his beliefs in white supremacy, Islamophobia, homophobia, anti-Semitism, xenophobia, and sexism. They are not Americans; they are neo-Nazis.

I love my country, and that is not the image of Donald John Trump. I will not live under a fascist dictator.

I wish that I had millions of readers like the publications who are afraid to expose the reality of today’s America.
