Once Again it’s Trump vs Pelosi and Once Again the Speaker is Kicking his Ass

pelosi-3

Trump is doing his usual when he fails or makes poor decisions, he’s attempting to brag and lie his way out of an unforgivable situation. Weeks ago, he had an opportunity to lead our nation in limiting the spread of the coronavirus, but he ignored it, claiming it was another of his many ‘hoaxes.’

Across the nation state governors displayed their leadership while Trump watched Fox Noise, apparently seeking guidance.

Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, has battled with Trump for the last 38 months, and each time she has kicked the obese buffoon’s ass. He has been forced to endure the truth and was eventually impeached for his many Constitutional violations. Over the weekend the Speaker offered her evaluation of Trump’s failures during this crisis.

“The president — his denial at the beginning — was deadly,” she said. “His delaying of getting equipment to where it continued — his continued delay in getting equipment to where it’s needed is deadly.”

Trump attempted to take credit for actions by New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo. On Sunday, Trump bragged that the ratings for his news briefings were higher than “The Bachelor,” told “Fox & Friends” that he personally made Cuomo “successful.” But the governor’s approval rating was up to 71% among New Yorkers in a Siena College poll released Monday, while just 41% approved of Trump.

At the same time Trump was bragging about Cuomo’s aggressive actions, he denied the Governor’s request for an additional 30,000 ventilators.

“I don’t believe” they need that many, Trump told Fox News host Sean Hannity last week before denying on Sunday that he said so. Trump went on to baselessly accuse a hospital of misusing or stealing protective equipment, drawing a strong rebuke from Democrats.

The truth is because Trump hesitated for weeks to implement the Defense Production Act, just days ago manufactures of life-saving medical equipment began escalating their manufacturing efforts to mass produce ventilators and other necessary equipment.

It is natural for the American people to look towards their president in times of national emergency for leadership and hope. This has not happened under the Trump administration. The primary adjective defining Trump’s inactions and subsequent failures is ‘incompetence.’

The truth is, not a single accomplishment can be credited to Trump and his woefully unqualified administration. With little or no experience in federal government they are incapable of learning from history or even the past experiences of President Obama’s enormously qualified administration.

“First let me say how sad it is that ever since the president’s signing of the [stimulus] bill, the number of deaths reported has doubled from 1,000 to 2,000 in our country,” the California Democrat began. “This is such a very, very sad time for us. So, we should be taking every precaution. The president? His denial at the beginning was deadly. His delaying of getting equipment to where it — his continued delay in getting equipment to where it’s needed is deadly.”

The Speaker added additional facts and failures.

“We have to have be testing, testing, testing,” she continued. “That’s what we said from the start, before we can evaluate what the nature of it is in some of these other regions as well. … I don’t know what the scientists are saying to him. I don’t know what the scientists said to him. When did this president know about this, and what did he know? What did he know and when did he know it? That’s for an after-action review. But as the president fiddles, people are dying and we just have to take every precaution.”

America has the wrong illegitimate president at the wrong time.
