Trump Was Aware of the Coronavirus Early in January but Waited nearly Six Weeks to Order Medical Supplies

Coronavirus (2)

Ask Trump, he’ll brag that he acted faster and more decisively to slow the spread of the coronavirus in America than any other leader of any other nation. However, he won’t admit that his first assessment, which he offered to the press, was that “it’s a hoax,” and it will “go away.”

Your illegitimate president was aware of the growing threat from the virus in early January. However, it was mid-March when he finally implemented the Defense Production Act. In early 2020 he was very busy golfing and holding his infamous hate rallies. Expectations of a fast-spreading virus becoming a pandemic encouraged health professionals to increase their supplies of everything from masks to ventilators in January. Their need surpassed the availability of their requests.

The Associated Press reports that newly obtained federal purchasing contracts show “federal agencies largely waited until mid-March to begin placing bulk orders of N95 respirator masks, mechanical ventilators and other equipment needed by front-line health care workers.”

I can’t believe it; Trump lied! No American president would adopt a “wait and see” attitude about a possible pandemic which could kill thousands of Americans. All presidents prior to Trump would have erred on the side of caution. But you have a president who knows more than anyone about everything, including the generals, revered economists, and medical professionals. If you don’t believe me, just ask him.

Trump is unfit to lead our country and has proven by both his actions and inactions that he is not an American president.
