An illegitimate president who violates the Constitution nearly every day without objection by a Republican controlled senate. The man who on January 20, 2017 swore to “preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States of America” continues to attack the first amendment. The leader of the former Grand Old Party, Moscow Mitch McConnell, is subverting the efforts of the House to pass legislation benefitting underprivileged Americans and our military. One entire political party continues to ignore the needs and wishes of the vast majority of Americans. Concentration camps now exist on our southern border. A government which protect America’s enemies who are murderous tyrants in their own countries. The leader of our country supporting the white supremacist movement in America and not denying this fact; he is proud to have followers who are members of hate groups. Women are losing their positions as second class; becoming third in line. The once respected fourth estate allowing lies and corruption from the White House without defending the rights of the American people, especially on television. Rampant voter suppression. The profits of the super-rich a priority over the people of an entire nation. These and many more examples of Trump’s “Amerika” are not my America, and I hope it’s not yours.
My fellow Americans, if you loved your country prior to the 2016 “rigged” election, you fear for its future. Trump has been allowed to ignore the Constitution and the needs of the American people and create a fascist rule over our once free and proud people. We cannot allow leaders of foreign nations to control the future of the United States of America. This nation does not belong to the men and women we elect to serve us in Washington. This is our country and Abraham Lincoln said it best.
“We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution.”
Vote on November 3rd and take back your country.
